Open Question: Why do some black musicians get their music labeled Hip-Hop or R&B, when they aren’t trying to sing that?
It gets me pissed of that just because your black, that people think you are going to be singing R&B or Hip-Hop. It's like record executives want most black musicians to act black. Why can't they sing the type of music that they want to sing. For all they know, that particular person may not like Hip-Hop or R&B. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
