Be Light

En Speak The Speech Published 16 days and 19 hours and 33 minutes ago.

"There are many people out there fumbling in the dark, trying to find their way home. If you are one of them, look for your light. There are many people out there with light. If you are one of them, look for your tunnel. Light someone's way through courtesy, kindness, compassion and tenderness. The more you use your light, the more light you are given. Be the light at end of the someone's tunnel and make the way home together."~Alexys FairfieldRead more in...Light The Way [...]

Why I love my Focus Light!

En Diving in Fiji Published 17 days and 18 hours and 51 minutes ago.

Underwater Photography - Why I love my Focus Light! By Brad Brown "I first fell in love with my focus light on a clear star(fish) filled night in Indonesia. Earlier that day, with the assistance of my light, I’d managed to photograph orange pygmy seahorses, ornamental ghost pipefish and a myriad other macro critters I'd anticipated seeing on this first trip to Lembeh Strait. It wasn’t until that night though that I came to the realization that my focus light and I were going to become inseparable. [...]

Light

En Andy in Amsterdam Published 25 days and 7 hours and 29 minutes ago.

This is a photograph taken out our front window at 10:00 last night. It was clear as a bell and I didn't even think about using my bike coming home. I haven't had to use my bike light coming home at that hour for a while. It stayed light for quite a while after that. And then the Sun was up again at 5:19, which means that it was light out earlier than that. I'm glad I wasn't awake to see it. Last Friday, Fred mentioned that it was the longest day of the year. Days are much longer here than they are in NYC, [...]

You Can't Always Get What You Want? Says who?

En I Can Leave My Hat On Published 23 days and 1 hour and 34 minutes ago.

Looks like I won't have to switch to Coors Light after all: Diageo on October 17 received a label certificate from the Treasury Department’s Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau for Smirnoff Ice Light. (Click here to read entire blog post.) Smirnoff Ice Light doesn't seem to be available, yet, but I'm a patient person. Until then, I'll be giving the Coors Light a try. For example, tonight there will be karaoke...at a bowling alley...in Port Arthur. What could possibly go wrong? [...]

Reflect Light

En Speak The Speech Published 21 days and 17 hours and 57 minutes ago.

"How sad it is not to have any motivation or reason to get up in the morning. We need motivation to make us move. Motivation helps us face the day with a positive attitude. It keeps our head upright. Elevates our consciousness. Your house reflects who you are. It reflects your light. I believe that if we ignite the light in someone else, they in turn will ignite it in someone else. Maybe we really can make a difference? Light gets through the smallest openings; through doors, blinds, fog, darkness, and [...]

Light How To Join Photo Hunters Click here to see who else is playing Photohunt (don't forget to click on the images if you want to see them bigger) As a keen nature photographer Light is very important to me.
